I'm still alive!

Holy cow. It has been a long minute since I've posted anything on here. While I have taken some photos after my last post in January of 2012 (ouch), this hobby of mine has taken a back burner since my attempt at starting up a theatre company, Three Bone Theatre. While Three Bone is in the midst of it's third production, I feel it's time for some balance. I'm going to work harder to spend all my time wisely, instead of just some. Let's mark this as the beginning of a new year. My summer resolution.

And how coincidental that my last post ended with my dear friend, Rachel, and will now begin with my dear friend, Rachel. It's strange to think about how much has changed in a year and bit. But she still has bodacious red hair and eyes set to stun.

Be kind. I'm getting back in the saddle. More coming soon!

Two Photographers+One Camera=This.

This is my friend Rachel. She's a world traveler and photographer. She has bodacious red hair and eyes set to stun. We've been friends since our teens, performing in delightful shows such as The Trial of the Big Bad Wolf (I was the Third Little Pig). We go on photo adventures together. Our first one was years ago, long before I knew how to handle my camera and long after my days of dressing up as a Pig. We discovered a vacant theatre in uptown Charlotte.

The owner just so happened to be standing outside and allowed us in. Scary opera music blasting through the entire space. The whole experience was unbelievable. That was quite an adventure. Now we explore the great outdoors. We just played around, neither of us knowing exactly what the last hour of daylight would hold.

P.S. Thanks, mom, for the use of your blankets. So photogenic.

Though I'm not a fan of manipulating colors, I couldn't resist on this one. What a beaut.

I think I look like a russian doll.

Rachel, I think this one is stunning.

Oh man, I love the one below. Like, whoa.

*This was a collaboration. Though I've tagged all of these with my insignia, about half of them are Rachel's handy-work.
